Why is Drug Abuse in Teens Considered a Serious Issue?
Teenage is a very delicate age and there are many changes on the physical as well as on the mental level. Teenagers are also sensitive and can easily take any issue to their heart. Then, in order to get out of that stress, they might start consuming drugs or similar intoxicating substances. These drugs will give them momentary pleasure but their bodies will develop a tendency to become totally dependent on these substances and at that point, it will become quite difficult to wear them off their addiction. That is why drug abuse in teens is considered to be a serious issue.
