What are the Disadvantages of Investing in the Wal-Mart Chain Store Franchise?

As you may be aware, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club have outlets in almost every neighborhood in the United States. While they are enormously popular, it may be difficult to buy into the franchise and use its branded materials.   For the most part, you will find that the biggest disadvantage to joining the Wal-Mart franchise is the fact that you may not be allowed to build in your chosen area.  Among other things, established store owners will not want you competing in their territory.  That said, if you are interested in building overseas, you may be able to buy into the chain store franchise and build your store in a different country.
